The fall is coming...

These are Platano-trees. They grow all around the city. I guess they are the only source of oxygen in every street of this city (although we have parks, they are scarce). When I took this picture those few brown leaves reminded me that fall is coming... Posted by Picasa

People in Europe are complaining about what a long winter it's been.

Back to the Plátanos. They were very common here (and are very pretty) but they grow rotten inside and cause allergies.

How do they stay alive if they are rotten Bob? Does the tree thrive on mold?

The orange colour is so striking against the blue!

Bob: here they are not rotten, but cause allergies anyway when the small fruits(?) start to fall off in spring.

Very beautiful picture. The colorful trees in falls are wonderful.

personally i love spring or fall because it´s not so terribly hot like summer (32ºC) but it still warm and sunny...
