I don´t know but this hat looks pretty sad to me, taking no part of a fire nor being on someone´s head. I saw it in an abandoned parking lot and had to take the picture..and I was tempted to steal it but then I chickened out.

Go back, if the hat is still there it was waiting for you to remove it from it's sad and dull exisitance.
I agree, go back and rescue it from its miserable existence.
Sometimes trivial objects make the theme for a good picture and lead you into temptation. That´s a sin my "child". Just steal the photograph.

Poor hat...at least I´m going to visit it sometime soon...and hope not to find it because it went to stop some fires...
